Heritage Trail Bus Tours

Join our Heritage Committee for a FREE event to learn more about Lakeway’s vibrant history while riding in a luxury bus!

Bus departure times are: 10 AM, 12 PM, and 2 PM

The bus tours will depart from Lakeway City Hall at 1102 Lohmans Crossing. Each tour, guided by Lakeway Committee members and volunteers, lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Please arrive 15 minutes before your departure time.

The Heritage Trail Tour began with Lakeway’s Golden Anniversary in 2013. Since then, our knowledgeable docents have delighted thousands of participants with fascinating facts and humorous anecdotes about the history of Lakeway and the Lake Travis area.
Tour highlights include:

•  Live Oak Golf Course: Discover how the 1965 drought contributed to its construction.
