City of Lago Vista Public Works Showcase – Touch a Truck!

The City of Lago Vista Public Works Department proudly presents its inaugural Public Works Showcase: Touch A Truck Event!
Join us for an exciting opportunity to meet the people who serve our community, explore Public Works facilities, and discover the equipment, tools, and technology that help keep Lago Vista running every day.
This free family-friendly event will take place on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Public Works Facility located at 21011 Seminole Drive in Lago Vista.
Attendees will have the opportunity to get an up-close look at Public Works vehicles and equipment during the Touch A Truck experience, enjoy educational displays and demonstrations, learn about City operations, participate in kids activities, and enjoy giveaways, food, and refreshments.
Whether you’re interested in learning how Public Works maintains our infrastructure, operates our water and wastewater systems, or simply want to climb aboard some impressive equipment, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
We are excited to welcome residents of all ages as we launch what we hope will become an annual community tradition. Come see what keeps Lago Vista running and experience Public Works firsthand.
