Live Music: Jorge Castillo

Jorge Castillo is a veteran guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and performer who has been a fixture of the Austin live music scene since the early 1990s.

Castillo’s work spans Americana, rock, rhythm & blues, and roots music, and he’s known for energetic live performances at local venues throughout central Texas.

Over the past 30+ years, Jorge has fronted and performed with numerous bands — including The Drakes, Milligan Vaughan Project, Mike and the Burnalls, Mac Macintosh, Jeff and the Jumptones, and others — demonstrating his versatility as both a frontman and collaborator.
