Brown Bag Luncheon Concert

Our Brown Bag Lunch Concert Series return in 2026! Please bring your lunch and be prepared to be entertained. The concerts are from noon-1pm and open to everyone! No reservations or tickets are required, there is plenty of seating available. The City of Lakeway Arts Committee invites the community to bring their lunch and dine while listening to free live music.

Red Young and Silvie Rider Young are a prominent musical couple based in Austin, Texas, known for their work in jazz and various other genres. They have been married since 2007.

Red Young
Red Young is an American pianist, organist (specifically known for the Hammond B3), arranger, and producer.
Career: He has toured internationally with artists such as Eric Burdon of The Animals and Linda Ronstadt.
Projects: He leads the Red Young Quartet and the Red Young Quintet, and founded Austin Jazz Artists to support the local music scene.

Silvie Rider Young
Silvie Rider Young is a Swiss-born singer-songwriter, pianist, and composer who moved to the U.S. in 2007.
Musical Style: Her work blends jazz with classical inspirations and multilingual vocals, often singing in French and English.
Discography: Her major albums include Ride On (2006), Je Te Connais (2009), Reviens (2014), and You Must Believe in Spring (2019).
Latest Work: As of late 2024 and 2025, she has been working on a compilation album titled Easy Rider Young.
