Celebrate the 4th of July lake-style at Volente Beach Resort & Waterpark—our biggest event of the year. This year we are celebrating with fireworks shows on July 2nd , 3rd, and 4th. Spend the day cooling off with our waterpark opening at 11am, soaking up the sun, and enjoying a special BBQ sandwich alongside cold drinks and classic summer favorites. Come early to grab your food, find a spot, and relax before the excitement builds.
As the sun goes down, keep the party going with live music starting at 7pm, followed by a spectacular fireworks show when the sun goes down around 8:30 – 9pm lighting up the lake. It’s a full day of fun, food, and unforgettable views—perfect for friends and families alike.

Lago Vista Liberty Days
The City of Lago Vista proudly presents Lago Liberty Days 2026.
Join us as we celebrate freedom, community, and small-town spirit with aviation, live entertainment, patriotic traditions, family fun, and fireworks over the North Shore.
Saturday, July 4, begins with the Firecracker 5K & 10K at Heather Park. The 10K race begins at 7:45 AM, followed by the 5K at 8:00 AM. Runners, walkers, families, and patriotic costumes are all encouraged to join the fun.
At 10:00 AM, the annual 4th of July Parade will travel down Dawn Drive with this year’s parade theme: “250 Years of American Spirit.” Community groups, floats, golf carts, businesses, organizations, and residents are invited to participate in one of Lago Vista’s most beloved traditions.
The celebration wraps up Saturday evening at Bar-K Park, where gates open at 5:00 PM for an evening of music, food vendors, games, and family activities leading up to the community fireworks show at 9:00 PM.

Gallery Furniture & Mattress Mack have a spectacular annual 4th of July Fireworks show planned between mile marker 15 & 16 on the north side of the lake at 8:30 pm on July 4th.
Long-time Lake Travis homeowner Mattress Mac and Gallery Furniture annully put on one of the best fireworks show on Lake Travis. It’s a real tradition. 1000’s of boats watch the show by water.
